"You throw a pebble into a pond. The ripples touch the shore and a little soil is dislodged into the water. A seed was resting in the earth. Now it grows into a beautiful plant at the edge of the water.
A child picks the flower and takes it to her mother, who is dying. It is placed on the mother’s coffin... where its simple beauty touches the heart of an old man. He decides to contact his son who hasn’t seen for years.
And so the story continues…
All because one day you threw a pebble into a pond."
We're doing follow-up with students from camp and it's really encouraging for me to do it, to step out and be open, because I never know what will affect them to see God's love.
Maybe something moves in them just because we decided to meet, just because we're gonna see a movie together, just because we're having a girls night... Maybe that will be the open door for God to step into their lives.
I'm excited. :)
